First Monday Colors and Honors Ceremony

IN PHOTOS | The Air Combat Command (ACC) led the First Monday Flag Raising Ceremony of PAF Units at Edwin Andrews Air Base, Zamboanga City on 06 April 2026 headed by MGEN ROMAN M DIOSO PAF, Commander, Air Combat Command.
The ceremony was highlighted by the donning of ranks to the newly promoted officers — CPT DONALIZA P PAGAT PAF, 1LT CINDY ELA E FELIX PAF, and 1LT LORENZA LOVE C ASTRERO PAF — along with the pinning of chevron to the newly promoted senior non-commissioned officer, SMS Jorge M Miranda III PAF, marking their advancement in the service.
Outstanding personnel were likewise recognized – A1C Jeffrey D Garcia PAF, for being the Champion in the Dia de Zamboanga Weightlifting Championship (Senior Men’s Division 81-Kg Category) and AW2C Jasmin B Motilla PAF for graduating Top 2 in the Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Course, Class 06-25.
These achievements reflect not only individual achievements but also the collective recognition of dedication, discipline, and commitment to service.
In his remarks, MGEN DIOSO PAF delivered the message of the Acting Commanding General, Philippine Air Force emphasizing discipline, efficiency, and operational readiness. He also underscored the importance of resource conservation, mission focus, and the upcoming commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan as a reminder of the courage and sacrifice that continue to inspire service members today.
