ACC COMMANDER VISITS ELUM AIR STATION

IN PHOTOS | The Commander, Air Combat Command (ACC), MGEN ROMAN M DIOSO PAF, conducted his first operational visit to Elum Air Station (Hill 900) on 17 March 2026, underscoring his strong leadership presence and commitment to direct operational oversight.
He was warmly received by COL MARSON JOSEPH D MENDOZA PAF (GSC), Group Commander of the 583rd Aircraft Control and Warning Group (583rd ACWG), along with key personnel of the unit.
During the visit, MGEN DIOSO engaged with the personnel of the 583rd ACWG, recognizing their critical role in air defense operations and emphasizing the importance of unity, professionalism, and shared responsibility in sustaining operational effectiveness and accomplishing the mission of the Philippine Air Force.
The ACC Commander also inspected key facilities and observed actual radar operations, gaining valuable ground-level insight into the unit’s capabilities, systems, and overall readiness. The visit ensured alignment with the PAF’s strategic direction and priorities while reinforcing standards of excellence in mission execution.
This engagement highlights the Command’s continuing commitment to maintaining a responsive, capable, and mission-ready force, prepared to address both current and emerging security challenges.
