82nd COMMEMORATION OF ARAW NG KAGITINGAN

IN PHOTOS | The Air Combat Command, led by the Commander, ACC MGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF, participated in the 82nd Araw ng Kagitingan commemoration on April 9, 2024. The theme for this year was “Pagpaparangal sa Kagitingan ng mga Beterano: Saligan para sa Nagkakaisang Pilipino”. The event took place at the Freedom Fighters Memorial Shrine in Zamboanga City and was also attended by other PAF Units, Naval Forces Western Mindanao , Zamboanga City Police Office , and Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao .

During the ceremony, a Wreath-Laying Ceremony was held, and a 21-gun salute was fired to honor and remember not only the Filipino war veterans but also those who served with honor in defending the country during times of war or peace.

This significant event was organized by the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office, in collaboration with the City Government of Zamboanga and the Veterans Federation of the Philippines.
