Air Combat Command participated in Mental Resilience Training

Air Combat Command participated in Mental Resilience Training initiated by the Air Force Safety Office (AFSO), in partnership with In Touch Community Services on July 8-9, 2024, at Edwin Andrews Air Base Multi-Purpose Hall, Zamboanga City. The event was graced by the presence of MGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF, Commander, Air Combat Command, as the Keynote Speaker. It began with an opening ceremony led by COL RICHARD B SOMERA PAF (GSC), Chief Air Force Office.

This two-day activity was attended by the Officer and Enlisted Personnel Ladies Club, Officers and Enlisted Personnel of ACC, TOWWESTMIN, and 530ABG. The training included the following modules and a series of activities designed to enhance participant engagement:

 

1. Flight to Resilience: Mental Health Essentials
2. Combatting Stress: Strategies for Understanding Stressors and Developing Coping Skills
3. In the Air and on the Ground: Balancing Life and Service
4. Air Force Connections: Fostering Interpersonal Relationships
5. Resolving Turbulence: Conflict Resolution and Management

In his remarks, MGEN MUSICO PAF emphasized the beneficial impact of such training on the mental well-being of all EAAB personnel. This Mental Resilience Training ensures that PAF personnel are well-equipped to cope effectively despite setbacks.
