AIR COMBAT COMMAND YOUTH SYMPOSIUM
IN PHOTOS | In celebration of its 4th Founding Anniversary, the Air Combat Command, through the Command Civil Military Operations (CMO) in coordination with the 6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCen) conducted a Youth Symposium at the Edwin Andrews Air Base Multi-Purpose Hall Zamboanga City on May 28, 2024.
The event was participated by ninety-five (95) ROTC cadets from four universities and colleges in Zamboanga City namely:
– Nuevo Zamboanga College Inc
– Southern City Colleges
– HMIJ Foundation Philippine Islamic College Inc
The symposium featured two key lectures:
1. “Air Power” by COL CHRISTOPHER B PABLO, PAF (GSC)
2. “Leadership” by COL MARLON T HARDILLO, PAF (MNSA)
After the lectures, tokens of appreciation were given to the Subject Matter Experts (SME), and certificates of participation were awarded to the participants, received by the most senior cadets.
MGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF, Commander ACC delivered a powerful message to the young members of the society, highlighting the importance of youth engagement in national defense.
The event was concluded with static display of air assets and special operations capabilities of the Philippine Air Force. This allowed the cadets to have a closer look and photo opportunity with the aforementioned capabilities.
