AXEL CUP PROCEEDS PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER PATIENTS
IN PHOTOS | Just recently, the Philippine Air Force held the 4-day Axel Cup Shoot for a Cause at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, where both uniformed personnel and civilians participated as shooters.
With the support of participants from the AXEL CUP, on March 21, 2024, the Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LtGen Stephen P Parreño PAF, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Agnes Parreño, formally turned over the newly renovated two-storey Bahay Aruga quarters to Mr. Josefino Bonilla, President of Bahay Aruga Incorporated.
The CGPAF also handed over several bed frames, foam mattresses, and other essentials included in the donations.
In his remarks, LtGen Parreño highlighted that all of the donations became possible because of the generosity of different individuals from the Senate, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and other government and private organizations.
Through this, the PAF reaffirms its commitment to serving the Filipino people, especially those in need of extra care and support from the government, such as the children afflicted with different kinds of cancer residing in Bahay Aruga.
